Did you know?
Why do clock hands go 'clockwise'? Clocks copied sundials. North of the equator, a sundial's shadow moves round the same way!
In most watch adverts, the hands show about 10:10. The hands look like a happy smile!
All of India uses one clock time. Yet the far east sees sunrise almost two hours before the far west!
Try this: The One-Minute Guess
Ask someone to start a timer without telling you. Close your eyes. Open them when you think one minute is over. How close were you? Now try again while counting slowly: 'one mango, two mango, three mango'. Did counting help? Then see how many times you can write your name in one minute!
