Privacy, in plain words

What we don't do

• No accounts, sign-ups or log-ins for children.
• No forms that ask for a child's name, age, phone number, address or photo.
• No advertising and no advertising trackers.
• No tracking of what any child does across other websites.

What stays on your device

Quiz and game scores (for example, your best score) are saved only in your own browser, so you can see them next time. They are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to pages (for example, how many people opened the Class 3 page). It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

Videos

Some chapters have a video. The video player (YouTube, in privacy-enhanced mode) loads only when you tap "Play video". YouTube's own privacy policy applies to that player.

Teacher Corner

Teachers enter a school code to open the Teacher Corner. When the code is correct, we store one cookie that remembers this for 180 days. It contains no personal information.

Links to other websites

Current affairs stories list their sources. Those websites have their own privacy rules, so children should visit them with an adult.
