Seasons
Hot summer, rainy monsoon, chilly winter! Seasons change our clothes, our food and our games. Let's explore the seasons.
Did you know?
When it is summer in India, it is winter in Australia!
Some animals, like bears, sleep through the cold winter. This long sleep is called hibernation.
The monsoon winds bring rain from the sea. Farmers wait for the rain to sow their crops.
Try this: My Season Wardrobe
Ask a grown-up first. Then sort your clothes into three piles: summer, rainy days and winter. Which pile is the biggest? Which clothes can you wear in every season? Fold them back neatly when you are done!

Our Earth is a little tilted, like a spinning top that leans. Earth travels around the Sun all year long. For some months, our part of the world leans towards the Sun. Then it is warm. For other months, it leans away. Then it is cooler. That is why seasons change!
